1. How does this assignment relate to the standard?
This assignment relates to the standard by explaining the story 'Eleven'. We had to explain/summarize that story that growing up or changing of age is ok.
2. What are the steps you took to complete & do well on this assignment?
I use the notes Ms. Kim gave us, I used the organizer where I put my note to put in my summary. I also reviewed the rubric to see what I needed to do to get a good score on my writing. I lastly used the story 'Eleven' and reviewed what I read to make my writing clear, short, and matches the story. Having my writing organized made it easier and faster to do my writing.
3. This assignment demonstrates the following strengths...
I demonstrated that I could organize my writing in four clear paragraphs. I also demonstrated that I can focus on the purpose of the statement. Lastly I can demonstrate the elaboration of the evidence(use the facts, sources, details)
4. I could have improved my work on this assignment by...
I could have improved if I didn't make some of my ideas lose/connected it more. I could have improved if I checked my grammar. For example, correct my spelling/ punctuation.
5. How will you apply the skills you learned from this assignment in either the real world when you are an adult or in other classes while you are still a student?
I can use this in other classes because it shows how to organize my writing to make it easier especially weebly. Also I can use it in school to analyze my writing. I can use it for work when my boss wants me to read an article and explain it in a few words. Lastly we can use in reading count when we need to fill out the summary part and the part you can relate to.
