My advocate named, James!
Most people's heroes are their mothers', fathers', or grandparents' but my advocate who shaped and supported me is my brother James. My brother was a father that I never had, he showed me how to be a better person and how to survive this SUPER hard life. I always thank him on days like, Father's Day, Thanksgiving, or Valentine's Day. When I was younger and my mom was working so hard at work my brothers stayed home with. My brother Michael was going through his teen years and was going through problems so he thought taking care of his little sister was 'lame' but I knew he still loved me. My brother James helped me in my homework and went to my parent teacher conferences when my mom had to work late shifts. My brother taught me never to lie, steel, disobey my mom, or fail in school.
I knew to much at a young age. I always knew my brother had a talent to draw and I knew he want to make a difference in my life. My brother finished High School and started at a really hard and bad job but he knew we needed the money. He worked wherever he could to help my mom. My brother never finished college because my mom couldn't pay the expenses of the college books. However he has a job that I think he likes it but I know that wasn't his dream job. People say sometimes you have to do things you don't like to get the things you need in life but I know that's not true. I know if you commit and try your 100% you can do anything. And that's why I try to give my 100% or try do good in school even though I know its tough because of my brother. I want to make him happy by knowing what a good brother he was to me and how good he raised me.
